I (Melanie Mitterberger) take the protection of private data seriously. Special attention to privacy when processing personal data is an important concern. Personal data is used in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act; I am committed to confidentiality. These web pages may contain links to web pages of other providers to which this privacy policy does not extend.

Personal information

Personal data is information that can be used to determine the identity of a specific person. This includes information such as name, address, postal address and telephone number. Information that is not directly related to a person's identity (such as favourite websites or the number of users of a particular Internet service) is not included. In principle, this online service can be used without disclosing your identity.

When accessing the web pages, data (e.g. date, time and pages viewed) is stored on the server side. The evaluation is carried out by Plausible. No IP addresses or other user information is stored.

No personal data is used. We reserve the right to statistically analyse anonymised data sets.

I use personal data for the purposes of technical administration of the website and for member management only to the extent necessary in each case. Beyond that, personal data is only stored if it is provided voluntarily.

I will not transfer personal data to any recipients for the purposes mentioned above.

Storage duration

I will only store personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes specified in point 2 and as permitted by applicable law. I will also store personal data for as long as statutory retention periods exist or limitation periods for potential legal claims have not yet expired.

Cookies and server logs

This site uses technically necessary cookies for newsletter registration, which are deleted at the end of the session.

No other cookies are used.

However, cookies may be used by third-party providers whose products are linked to my site (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.). In this case, users are notified and thereby agree to the terms and conditions of the third-party provider.

Visits are stored in logs on the server side for a short period of time. This serves to defend against attacks.

Website analysis / Plausible

Website analysis is carried out by the open source Plausible platform. Plausible is a lightweight and open source website analysis tool. No cookies and fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA and PECR. Manufactured and hosted in the EU. No IP addresses or other user information is stored. No personal data is used. The statistical evaluation of anonymised data records remains reserved.

Minors

Persons under the age of 18 should not submit any personal data on these web pages without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. I do not request personal data from minors, collect it, or pass it on to third parties.

Links to other websites

This online offering contains links to other external websites. I have no influence over whether the data protection regulations are complied with on other external websites.

Your rights in relation to personal data

Under current law, you are entitled, among other things, to:

  1. check whether and what personal data I have stored about you and to obtain copies of this data
  2. request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. This helps in particular to ensure that I no longer contact you in future.
  3. request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or not processed in accordance with the law. Your data can only be deleted once the statutory tax retention periods have expired. Furthermore, deleting your data does not prevent me from contacting you again in the future.
  4. You also have the right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes at any time. If processing is based on your consent, you can revoke this at any time.
  5. In addition, you can request to receive the data you have provided to me in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format for the purposes of data portability.
